To promote the continuation of our quality reputation and focused growth, we are currently hiring the best talent available for the position of Manufacturing Engineer in our Farmington Ct. facility.Responsibilities This position is responsible for providing manufacturing engineering support to the Access Technologies manufacturing operation. Duties include: • Identify, develop, and implement manufacturing process improvements.• Identify and implement Productivity improvement projects.• Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize operator utilization and product flow.• Perform capital equipment justification.• Develop and maintain process work instructions and product routings.• Provide technical direction to the CNC programming department.• Manage facilities, equipment maintenance, and Environmental, Health, and Safety projects as assigned.• Model, foster and drive values including Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Vision, Stretch, Boundaryless and Speed.Qualifications Required• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related technical field.• 5 to 8 years experience in a related engineering position.• Knowledge of CNC programming and CNC machining equipment.• Knowledge of cutting, machining, and other metal fabrication processes.• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access). SAP knowledge and Pro-E knowledge a plus.• Project Management experience and understanding.• Excellent team and interpersonal skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Proficiency in working in a Windows environment. • Proven track record of success.• Ability to work in a fast paced, chaotic environment.General We are looking for energetic, detailed oriented people that focus on execution, meet commitments, break through turf issues, and have a passion to exceed customer expectations.
